The Louisiana Recovery Authority uses Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for several housing programs to help our citizens rebuild after hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Additionally, FEMA funds support the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Home Elevations and the Alternative Housing Pilot Program (Louisiana Cottages).
